The Skylog Pro iPhone and iPad application, when used in conjunction with the well-established Skylog Pro Personal Flying Logbook, offers a comprehensive solution for professional pilots who utilize Apple mobile devices while away from home. Established in 1996, Skylog Pro has earned recognition among thousands of airline pilots worldwide for its reliability and depth of functionality. It is important to acknowledge that this mobile app is designed to integrate seamlessly with Skylog Pro version 6.09 or later on PC; it is not a standalone application and requires synchronization with the main computer-based software.

The user-friendly interface of the Skylog Pro iPhone app allows pilots to efficiently record flight, simulator, and duty hour details directly on their device, whether on the ground or within flight levels. This enables continuous data entry during flights or training scenarios, with the ability to later synchronize data back into the full Skylog Pro database hosted on a PC. Synchronization is facilitated via WiFi using the free Skylog iPhone Conduit, available from www.skylog.co.uk.

The application provides two critical reporting functions to assist pilots in maintaining regulatory compliance and monitoring operational hours. The Duty/Flight Hours Report helps track flight and duty time currency over selected periods—such as 7, 14, or 28 days—or customized monitoring intervals. The UK-specific Flying Duty Hours Report calculates allowable flying duty hours in accordance with CAP 371, supporting pilots operating aircraft registered in the United Kingdom.

When paired with Skylog Pro, the mobile app represents a robust tool for managing aviation record-keeping requirements mandated by authorities. It encompasses extensive features—including detailed logging of flight activities, simulator hours, aircraft types or categories, instrument approaches, destinations, and more—delivering both comprehensive data entry and sophisticated analytical reporting capabilities characteristic of advanced electronic logbook systems.

Existing Skylog Pro V6+ users can acquire this app by making a single purchase and then downloading the complimentary iPhone synchronisation conduit from www.skylog.co.uk. The website also provides extensive information detailing all the features offered by Skylog Pro.

Please note that the mobile application requires Skylog Pro version 6.12 or higher. Users operating earlier versions of Skylog Pro V6 are advised to update their software free of charge via Main Menu > Help > Check for Updates.
